Lemak Health was founded by world-renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lawrence Lemak—also widely known as Dr. Larry Lemak. Our practice has an exceptional group of specialized orthopedic surgeons and physicians who provide personalized health care for our patients. As a leader in the sports medicine and orthopedics field, our focus is on redefining health and wellness for athletes, active professionals, and youth. We believe that the whole body cannot be healthy unless each part is healthy. With this as our guiding philosophy, we continue to deliver an outstanding healthcare experience. Welcome & History

Thank you for visiting our website, and your interest in our practice. I have had the great fortune of serving thousands of patients of Alabama and their families for over forty years.

In the mid 2000's, I decided to re-work our practice, and begin a different way to provide services to our patients. It became clear that serving our patients, in their communities, was what our patients wanted.

Our patients were tired of visiting large hospital campuses, paying for parking, and having to navigate long corridors while on crutches. Thus, you will find us in three locations close to your home.

We appreciate you trusting us with your orthopedic needs, it is our goal to help you through whatever injury you may have, and to make the experience as painless as possible.
